Camp Cove Coffee + Kitchen (“Camp Cove”, “we”, “us”) runs eatcampcove.com. This policy explains the small amount of personal information the site collects, why, and what you can do about it. We do not sell your information to anyone.
What We Collect
We only collect information you type in yourself. There are three ways that happens:
- Contact form. Your name, email address, and whatever you write in your message.
- Job applications. If you apply to work with us, whatever you send: your name, contact details, work history, résumé, and anything else you choose to include.
- Basic site analytics. Our website host records standard technical information such as pages visited, approximate location, browser type, and referring site. This is aggregate traffic data, not something we use to identify you.
We do not run customer accounts, loyalty programs, or newsletters through this site, and we do not ask for payment details anywhere on it.
Ordering Ahead
The “Order Ahead” buttons take you off this website to our ordering page hosted by Square. Anything you enter there — your name, contact details, order, and payment — is collected by Square under their own privacy policy, not ours. We never see or store your card number. Please read Square’s privacy policy before ordering.
Why We Use It
- To reply to your question or message.
- To consider you for a role, and to contact you about it.
- To understand roughly how many people visit the site and which pages they read, so we can improve it.
We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not build profiles about you.
Who Else Sees It
Only the services that make the site work:
- Our website host, which stores the site and delivers your form submission to us.
- Our email provider, which carries the message to our inbox.
- Square, if you choose to order ahead, under their own policy.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it. Beyond that, we do not share, rent, or sell your personal information.
Cookies
Our website host sets a small number of cookies needed to run the site and to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
How Long We Keep It
Messages sent through the contact form are kept only as long as we need them to answer you and for our records. Job applications are kept while we are hiring for that role and for a reasonable period afterwards, in case something else opens up. You can ask us to delete either at any time.
Your Choices
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@eatcampcove.com and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can.
If you are a California resident, state law may give you additional rights, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law. We will not treat you differently for exercising any of these rights.
Children
This site is meant for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us, but no website or email system is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive personal information , such as government ID numbers or financial details , through the contact form.
Changes
If we change this policy we will post the new version here and update the date at the top.
